[ros-users] roscore problom: I need help

Is this error message from before or after you set ROS_HOSTNAME? The
error message implies that ROS_HOSTNAME is not set, as it is using the
'robot' hostname instead.

Can you try:

export ROS_MASTER_URI=http://localhost:11311
export ROS_HOSTNAME=localhost
roscore


 ... and see if you get the same error message?
