Hi Vijay,

I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and ROS v1.1.7 too. The launch file that I use is
as follows:

<launch>
  <node type="laser_scan_assembler" pkg="laser_assembler"
name="my_assembler">
    <remap from="scan" to="tilt_scan"/>
    <param name="max_scans" type="int" value="400" />
    <param name="fixed_frame" type="string" value="base_link" />
  </node>
  <node type="periodic_snapshotter" pkg="laser_assembler"
name="my_periodicSnapshotter"></node>
</launch>
