Hello ROS Users :)

The Working Group EOS(Embedded and Operating Systems) at the Department for Computer Science of the Otto-von-Guericke University of Magdeburg, Germany likes to announce their new ROS repository.
You can find it at https://svn-eos.cs.uni-magdeburg.de/repos/Projects/JANUS/.

The repository contains, for now, one package called "Janus". I guess there are more packages to come.

It provides the abilities to exchange messages between FAMOUSO and ROS.
FAMOUSO uses a similar Publisher/Subscriber System like ROS.
If you create a Publisher with FAMOUSO it automatically creates a Publisher for ROS which you can subscribe and vice versa.

FAMOUSO is a communication middleware developed at EOS, especially designed to work even on very small Embedded Systems like Smart Sensors. For further information about FAMOUSO please read http://famouso.sourceforge.net/.

Greetings from Germany
Jan Düwel
