Hey all,

KForge has been successfully updated to the newest version. This upgrade
includes the following features among others:

* Join request e-mails now contain links that allow project administrators
to quickly approve or reject a membership request. No more logging in to
find the relevant project on your own.

* Lost passwords can be retrieved with an e-mail address. Previously, you'd
have to remember your user name.

* KForge now has private project support.

* KForge has much improved Trac integration. Users see all of the tickets
they're associated with across all Trac instances hosted on KForge. Also,
name, e-mail and permission information is synchronized between KForge and
hosted Trac instances.

* SSH access to hg and git repositories has been sped up significantly.
Performance over SSH should now be comparable to HTTP.

* Creating a mailing list now sends e-mails to project administrators with
the password for that list. This removes the need for a global list
password.

* There are no longer unix-like length limits on project or service names.
This should, hopefully, make life easier for stacks that have more than 13
characters in their names.

* The UI, in particular the landing page for KForge, has been given a bit
of a redesign.

* Trac configuration has been exposed to project administrators. Just click
"edit" for a Trac service and you can enable options like sending e-mails
from Trac (smtp_enabled = true). Also, all new Trac instances have e-mail
notification enabled by default.

* You can now remove yourself from a project without needing a project
administrator to do it for you.

Let me know if you have any issues or suggestions for future features,
enjoy the new enhancements, happy hacking, and happy holidays,

Eitan
