[ros-users] Publish - Subscribe and Services

Do service messages and publish-subscribe messages share the same FIFO queue? Am i understanding right that service request messages (including action messages) have no associated priorities? It would be great if you could point me out to some place where i could find information on the underlying ROS communication framework?
