[ros-users] installation problem on 10.10 Maverick

So...

I let update manager update a few more things and then tried installing ROS
again, and now it works. I have no idea what might have been updated that
solved the problem. Shouldn't a ROS installation be independent of this,
since it looks at necessary dependencies and installs them?
