I'm also working on Fedora 14 (x86_64). It looks ok here:

$ rosrun dynamic_reconfigure dynparam get
/dynamica_reconfigure_test_server
Waiting for service /dynamica_reconfigure_test_server/set_parameters...

rxgraph output looks ok.
