[ros-users] Mac OS X 10.7.3 installation error "Failed to checkout…"

I everyone,

I was trying to install ROS on my clean install of OS X 10.7.3. I was following the tutorial bumped into a problem related to pysvn, installed it from source and after that I'm getting the following error:

cabrita$ rosinstall ~/ros "http://packages.ros.org/cgi-bin/gen_rosinstall.py?rosdistro=electric&variant=desktop-full&overlay=no"
rosinstall operating on /Users/cabrita/ros from specifications in rosinstall files  /Users/cabrita/ros/.rosinstall, http://packages.ros.org/cgi-bin/gen_rosinstall.py?rosdistro=electric&variant=desktop-full&overlay=no

 Checkout of https://code.ros.org/svn/ros/stacks/ros/tags/ros-1.6.8 version  into /Users/cabrita/ros/ros failed.

Could this be related to the pysvn installation? Maybe related to the fact that the ros.org/wiki was down? Or am I doing something wrong here?
