+1 to Kame, nice and short.

Some more suggestions:
I think Kappa [1] has a nice ring to it, even though it's not quite a
turtle :)
One more (admittedly a bit unwieldy) option is Kassiopeia, after the
tortoise in Michael Ende's Momo [2] - although it's spelled differently in
the English version.
