[ros-users] warning: ABI breakage in image_transport 1.11.5 for Hydro, Indigo & Jade

The latest release of image_common inadvertently introduced binary
interface changes that can affect other packages using image_transport if
they were built from source using an earlier version. It would have been
reasonable to make that kind of change for a new distro like Jade, but
Hydro and Indigo should not have been disrupted.

Going back to release an earlier version now would only cause additional
ABI breakage for anyone who has already compiled using version 1.11.5.

To avoid problems with this change, it is a good idea to recompile your
source workspace any time you apt-get upgrade from the ROS repositories.

This breakage was unintentional, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
