[ros-users] [Discourse.ros.org] [General] Error MSB4126: The specified solution configuration "Release|x 86" is invalid

I tried building the ros2 code using this guide, https://github.com/ros2/ros2/wiki/Windows-Development-Setup

i couldnt build the /dev/ros2 folder tree.
when i tried to run this code:
> python src\ament\ament_tools\scripts\ament.py build
i get,

Build started 10-02-2018 09:21:00.

I use command prompt and vs2017. 
Please help me get around this.
