Maybe on a related note, I wasn't sure why `roscpp` can be BSD while it statically links to an L-GPL package `xmlrpcpp`, I did a quick research and [wrote what I found](http://ros-logger.blogspot.com/2018/02/statically-linking-xmlrpcpp-l-gpl-how.html). As IANAL, there's no guarantee that the post is correct (but appreciate feedback in the comment section).
