Yes, I know, but it is not always available. A fallback to the Github repo would be nice too.

An alternative is to check the [status pages](http://repositories.ros.org/status_page) automatically generated by the ROS buildfarm. They provide a complete list of all released packages including a link to the source repository as well as a link to the wiki page for each package if it exists.
example: `amcl` package
http://repositories.ros.org/status_page/ros_kinetic_default.html?q=amcl provides a link to the [wiki page](http://wiki.ros.org/amcl) and the [source repository](https://github.com/ros-planning/navigation/tree/kinetic-devel)

In the case of packages that don't have a source of a doc entry (like [loki_bringup](http://repositories.ros.org/status_page/ros_kinetic_default.html?q=loki_bringup)) the status page provides only a link to the [release repository used for rolling out the package](https://github.com/UbiquityRobotics-release/loki_robot-release.git).
