The error message says:

> `pytest.py`: unrecognized arguments: -o cache_dir=...

I assume you are using an older version of `pytest` since this command line argument was only added in version [3.2.0](https://docs.pytest.org/en/latest/changelog.html#pytest-3-2-0-2017-07-30).

Please check that you have followed the [instructions](https://github.com/ros2/ros2/wiki/Linux-Development-Setup#how-to-setup-the-development-environment) which mention to install the latest version via pip.
