I couldn't get a useful backtrace from my core dump: <br>

When I set <span style="font-family: 'Courier New, Courier';
font-size: 9pt;">set(ROS_BUILD_TYPE Debug)</span> in my
CMakeLists.txt does it set all of the dependencies to Debug as well?

backtrace where it's crashing that would help as well -- I
know you said it won't crash in gdb, but if you can get a core
file you can get a backtrace from that.</div>
