To accommodate this change several tools have been updated. rosdistro 0.3.0, rosdep 0.10.25, rosinstall 0.7.3, rosinstall_generator 0.1.6, and bloom 0.4.7. You will need these minimum versions to work with the new rosdistro. They are now available in the ROS Apt repositories and for non Ubuntu users also in pypi via pip</div>

<div dir="ltr">We are in the process of rolling out REP-0141 (<a href="http://www.ros.org/reps/rep-0141.html" target="_blank">http://www.ros.org/reps/rep-0141.html</a>) in preparation for the spin up of the Indigo farm.<div>

Some time today or tomorrow we will be doing the switch in the rosdistro repository (<a href="http://github.com/ros/rosdistro" target="_blank">http://github.com/ros/rosdistro</a>). During this time tools like bloom and rosinstall_generator might not work. We will send another email to let people know when we start the process and when we have finished.</div>
