I recently gave a talk about how to benefit from using ROS in "small"<br>
(budget) projects, i.e. those typically conducted in a home or<br>
hackerspace setting [1].<br>
So in a nutshell, yet another 'Introduction to ROS' talk.<br>
However - hopefully - without leaving behind the impression (in the<br>
hobbyists mind) that ROS is all cool stuff, but what to do with it when<br>
not owning a 100K dollar robot.<br>
<br>
I would be really interested to collect more of these home/hackerspace<br>
projects using ROS as inspiration and reference for the non-academic roboticist.<br>
<br>
<br>
If you have used ROS in such a context, please let me know about your project.<br>
