[ros-users] Turtle Sim registerPublisher - Ubuntu 9.04

Hi all,

I'm encountering an error when I try to rosrun turtlesim turtlesim_node ...

[ERROR] 1269276678.662877000: [registerPublisher] Failed to contact master at [localhost:11311].  Retrying... 

It stalls there. When I press Ctrl-C, this appears:

^C[ INFO] 1269277115.920872000: Starting turtlesim with node name /turtlesim
[ INFO] 1269277115.921579000: Spawning turtle [turtle1] at x=[5.555555], y=[5.555555], theta=[0.000000]

No simulation window.

Has anyone had this bug? How do you fix it?
