[ros-users] Calculating height of objects in 3D point clouds

Dear All,

        I have a 3D point cloud of a scene from swissranger SR-3000  and i have 
segmented it to different planar surfaces. I would like to know how can i 
measure the height of each of these segments. How is this done in general ?
