[ros-users] API review for new unique_identifier stack

In discussions on the geographic_info mailing list, it became apparent
that common ROS universally unique identifier support would be useful.

So, I volunteered to create a simple stack containing a single message
with some thin Python and C++ convenience functions to access it.

need community feedback. The interface is small. This should not take
much of your time. Please provide comments before next Friday,
