[ros-users] [Discourse.ros.org] [Packaging and Release Management/Melodic] Preparing for Melodic sync 2019-03-01

Melodic Maintainers,
Currently Melodic has [3 regressions ](http://repositories.ros.org/status_page/ros_melodic_default.html?q=REGRESSION) and [176 packages ](http://repositories.ros.org/status_page/ros_melodic_default.html?q=SYNC) ready to sync. I plan to hold new releases for Melodic starting today, March 1, with a sync early next week.  I'm going to merge in https://github.com/ros/rosdistro/pull/20415 to fix the regression.

Please reply here if there are any other outstanding issues I should know about before performing the sync.
