[ros-users] Gazebo Issue: Fall Into the Sky

Hi everyone,
I'm just getting used to Gazebo so excuse me if it's something simple I've overlooked. Here's what's happening: I start up Gazebo using the command: roslaunch gazebo_worlds empty_world.launch and spawn my model afterwards. What's happening next is really strange. When my model appears it falls for half a second, hits the floor and then it shoots upwards at the camera. When I pan around, my model is up in the "sky" just floating and rotating around. I have the line " <turnGravityOff>false</turnGravityOff>" in my urdf, but that's obviously not keeping it from shooting into the sky.

Assistance would be greatly appreciated.
