    I had the same problem on my laptop creep up about three weeks ago. An
earlier thread on ros-users helped me fix it (
http://code.ros.org/lurker/message/20101108.082456.79ecfaed.en.html). The
quick work-around (thanks to Jack O'Quinn) is:


$ export STAGEPATH=/etc/X11
