[ros-users] Problem with certificate installing kinect

Following the installation instructions I run into this error


Installing https://github.com/ros-pkg-git/kinect.git master to
/home/chris/ros/kinect
Cloning into /home/chris/ros/kinect...
error: SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details:
error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify
failed while accessing https://github.com/ros-pkg-git/kinect.git/info/refs

fatal: HTTP request failed
ERROR: Failed to install tree '/home/chris/ros/kinect'
vcs not setup correctly
