[ros-users] Progress in rviz on OSX

I'm never sure anymore what goes on ros-users and what goes on answers.
Specifically answers seems to expect questions, not answers. I felt weird
writing a report under the heading "ask a question".

I made some progress in getting rviz to run on OSX, thanks mostly to William
Woodall's ogre patch. I wrote a report on answers.ros.org, for anyone who's
interested:

The basic summary is that I got rviz compiled, and as far as the splash
screen, when it quit with a segfault.
