Which ROS Distribution are you referring to ?
We will likely not have a new sync on Kinetic or Lunar in the next couple of weeks as some regressions in the core will require new releases, a full rebuild and some testing time.
I think Indigo had no regressions and may be synced soon but I'll let @tfoote comment on this as he is the Indigo ROS Boss.
