ROS Melodic docker images are now [available on Dockerhub](
https://hub.docker.com/_/ros/)! :whale2:
Simply run this command to download and start a session in a Melodic container:
`$> docker run -it ros:melodic`
ROS Melodic images are available for the following platforms/architectures:
- Ubuntu Bionic:
- amd64
- armhf (arm32v7)
- arm64v8
- Debian Stretch:
- amd64
- arm64v8
The `desktop` and `desktop_full` images are available on the [osrf/ros docker hub profile](
https://hub.docker.com/r/osrf/ros/tags/)
To try them out:
`$> docker run -it osrf/ros:melodic-desktop-full`
Notes:
- The implicit `latest` tag now points to `melodic-ros-base`
- Please report any issue with the images on github.com/osrf/docker_images/issues
- Dont forget to star our official repo so others might discover it!
