While new setup ros2 environment on Ubuntu 18.04, I have blocked by rosdep update.
Try dozens of times, "rosdep update" still timeout.
Here is workaround by Increasing timeout value.
Modify /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/rosdep2/sources_list.py
"- DOWNLOAD_TIMEOUT=15.0"
"+ DOWNLOAD_TIMEOUT=300.0"
After this change, rosdep update succeed on second time.
