[ros-users] rviz freezes

Dear all,
I update my visualization stack to:

All fine but when I now fire up rviz it just becomes sort of dead and
freezes, that is, becomes insensitive to all buttons and clicks on the
menu.
I've never had the problem with rviz before and I am running Ubuntu
9.04. rosout does not report any warnings or errors.
Attached is also Ogre.log.

Any suggestions?
