Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/home/shah/rosinstall", line 262, in <module>
    sys.exit(rosinstall_main(sys.argv) or 0)
  File "/home/shah/rosinstall", line 249, in rosinstall_main
    install_yaml(y, options, config)
  File "/home/shah/rosinstall", line 112, in install_yaml
    subprocess.check_call(t['cmd'], shell=True)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.6/subprocess.py", line 498, in check_call
    raise CalledProcessError(retcode, cmd)
subprocess.CalledProcessError: Command 'svn up  /home/shah/ros/ros' returned non-zero exit status 1

If you installed the svn version with the base packages the following
should do what you want.

~/rosinstall ~/ros http://ros.org/rosinstalls/boxturtle_base.rosinstall
