[ros-users] Rviz installation

Hi,

I'm sorry but now I'm not in front of that computer, hence I can't be very
precise.

By the way, I installed ROS and Open Rave through the following tutorial
http://openrave.programmingvision.com/index.php/Installation.

I'm using Linux X-Ubuntu 10.4 on a x86, updated to the last kernel version.

The problem is that the computer starts to respond very slowly to any
mouse/keyboard input.
After at least an hour the pc closes the terminal window and stops the
compilation.
I waited the entire night but the compilation failed.

Now I solved the problem. I launched the system without the graphic
interface, then I compiled rviz with the "make" command, and finally i run
the command "rosmake rviz".
