[ros-users] Navigation with semantical tags

Is there a package out there that expands the navigation stack with
semantic tags on certain locations/areas?
I think I remember such a package mentioned on the news/blog but I'm
unable to find it back.
How is it  handled at Willow Garage/TUM/... in there demos?
