[ros-users] Primesense cameras no longer available?

Supposedly the new and much improved Kinect Version 2 which uses a
different technology make Prime Sense obsolete.  I can't believe that we
have not heard more about the new sensor.

Here's a blip from Microsoft from early last year:

Anyone know the scoop?
