You might look at [Robot Commander,](https://github.com/UbiquityRobotics/Robot_Commander) which runs on Android.  There is also an [older version](https://github.com/UbiquityRobotics/speech_commands) for a workstation.

Possibly overkill.

Both use [RobotWebTools](https://github.com/RobotWebTools)
