Hi Josep,

I have this package:
http://www.ros.org/wiki/objects_of_daily_use_finder
which works blazingly fast but does not return you the 3D position.
To get the latter I think Rosen Diankov wrote the following package:

Here is also a tutorial for it:

This package almost 100% uses pointcloud data on the input.
