[ros-users] p2os groovy installation

Allen,

I'm trying to install your package, then I'm getting the following dependencies: "robot_monitor". This package in groovy, is "rqt_robot_monitor", can you help me to solve this?

Hello Allen,

I would suggest that you contact the pioneer-sig here http://ros.org/wiki/sig/robots/Pioneer.

As you can see, Dereck Wonnacott has already provided a groovy version of the p2os at github https://github.com/dawonn/ros-p2os-driver and is catkin compatible. If you search a little more you can find a few more alternatives, for example, I forked Dereck's git and added some more functionality such as Sonar and Arm capabilities here https://github.com/progtologist/ros-p2os-driver

Anyway, get in touch with the pioneer sig and I am sure you can find more info there!
